In our initial session, we will explore current challenges, and how they are affecting you. Some things that bring people to therapy might include:

  • Anxiety symptoms - including somatic complaints (e.g. migraines, stomach pains, chronic pain), panic symptoms, social anxiety, critical thoughts, intrusive thoughts, OCD

  • Depressive symptoms - low mood, lethargy, lack of enjoyment, feelings of worthlessness, numbness or thoughts around self-harm or suicide

  • Relationship difficulties - interpersonal difficulties, workplace problems, communication, intimacy, anger problems, separation challenges

  • Trauma and Adjustment - psychological impact of childhood and relational trauma, as well as PTSD symptoms, adjustment difficulties, dissociative symptoms, emotion dysregulation, psychological support for mental health and frontline workers

  • Grief and loss - emotional adjustment to grief and loss, anger, numbness, shock, complicated grief

  • Perinatal mental health - perinatal anxiety and depression, attachment difficulties, postnatal OCD, fertility difficulties, grief and loss, transition to parenthood

  • Parenting issues - parent-directed child-focussed work, as well as emotional support for parents
